Individuals or groups interested in becoming a member of the Black Economic Justice Institute, Inc., must satisfy the following criteria and procedures: ​ ​

1.    Must be at least fourteen (14) years old.

2.    Must be identified by a current member as a person or organization who has the desire to provide their time, talents and other resources in furtherance of the objectives and programs of the BEJI and engage in community service.  ​

3.    Organizations must be registered, or in the process of becoming legally registered in the State of Massachusetts, and must work in the area of equal employment opportunity and economic justice. 

​4.    Must pay the applicable membership dues and submit an application for membership. ​

Membership Dues (Yearly)

Youth: 14-18 Years old  $10.00

College Students: $15.00

Regular Membership $25.00

Seniors: $5.00

Non Profit $125.00

Membership Discounts on Continuing Jobs and Justice Continuing Education Programs 

BEJI plans to offer jobs and justice training through a parternership with local colleges and Universities. BEJI membership will provide special discounts on registration at this and other BEJI sponsored continuing education programs.

BEJI Journal and Electronic Resources

​We will provide scholarly publications. Members will have access to our planned BEJI Journal and both in print format, and electronic format option. 

BEJI will also publish a quarterly BEJI  E-Newsletter, highlighting BEJI policy, and local Jobs and Justice news.

BEJI is in the process of establishing a BEJI Career Center If you are actively seeking a career opportunity, seeking to be recruited by the many development efforts in greater Boston, particularly Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan or at the Casino constuction sites or simply interested in being considered if the right opportunity comes along, log on to the BEJI website and its Career Center.
